About this pandal
Madan Mohan Temple, known locally as Madan Mohan Bari, was built between 1885 and 1889 by Maharaja Nripendra Narayan of the Koch dynasty. Raised in the Dalan style of Bengal temple architecture, the white-domed shrine is dedicated to Lord Krishna in his form as Madan Mohan, the family deity of Cooch Behar's royal house, alongside Ma Kali, Ma Tara and Ma Bhavani.
